In a period of almost 15 years, these small pieces were created. Passage I was created in 1996 to compose short impressions based on an idea that they together create a freely configurable work. The last Passage was made in 2011.

  • Passage I is meditative and expressive, with a melodic midsection.
  • Passage II plays against it, a bit restless, more exciting.
  • Passage III is avant-garde, modern.
  • Passage IV had the working title Casiopeia, melancholic in 3/4 time with a haunting melody.
